Refund Policy

1. Your 14 day right to cancel

You can cancel your contract with us within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day after your contract is formed, which is when you accept your proposal, sign it or make your first payment.

If you are a consumer, this is a legal right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The law does not give business customers the same right, but we apply the same 14 day window to all our customers.

2. How to cancel

To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end. You can:

• email hello@utinnovation.co.uk;
• use the support button in your dashboard; or
• call us on 0800 002 5775, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

You can use these words if you like: "I am cancelling my contract with UT Innovation for the following services. Ordered on [date]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [today's date]."

We will confirm your cancellation in writing.

3. Your refund

If you cancel within 14 days, we will refund the money you have paid, less any deductions explained in section 4. We will refund you within 14 days of the day you told us you were cancelling.

We refund using the same payment method you used, through Stripe. We do not charge a fee for refunds.

4. If we have already started work

We will only start work during your 14 days if you ask us to. If you then cancel, you will need to pay for:

• a fair amount for the work we have already done, in proportion to the full project; and
• any costs we have already paid to other organisations on your behalf that cannot be recovered. For example, the Companies House filing fee or the cost of registering your domain.

Flyers and business cards are printed to your own design, so they cannot be refunded once they have been printed.

If we have completed all the services in full during your 14 days at your request, you will lose the right to cancel.

5. After 14 days

We do not offer refunds after 14 days. This includes refunds for a change of mind.

If you are on a payment plan and want to end your contract after 14 days, you can give two months notice under our Terms and Conditions. The remaining payments for your project still fall due.

6. If something goes wrong

This policy does not affect your legal rights. We must provide our services with reasonable care and skill. If we do not, please tell us as soon as possible. We will put it right by repeating or fixing the work at no extra cost. If we cannot fix it, or cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction.
